The Columbia Valley will elect regional directors on Saturday, November 15,2008

Here is how to EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE regarding the Regional District of East Kootenay election.

I hope you support my efforts to represent you!

There are two options available to you:

  • 1.  VOTE IN ADVANCE - If you ARE able to vote at the advance polling station
    on Wednesday, November 5,2008 -or- Thursday, November 13,2008

  • 2.  VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT - if you are UNABLE to vote at the advance polling station,
    Before 4 pm on November 13, 2008 you must submit the following information to the RDEK office in Cranbrook;

    • 1. your full name

    • 2. residential address

    • 3. the address of the property in relation to which you are voting (for non-resident property electors)

    • 4. identify how you wish to receive the mail ballot package (pickup in Cranbrook, regular mail)

    • You may submit this information by;

    • Please Note: If you are not on the list of electors, to ensure you receive the correct registration application form in your package, you must indicate whether you are going to be registering as a resident or non-resident property elector.

      The Regional District of East Kootenay will send out mail ballot packages commencing October 22,2008
      YOUR MAIL BALLOT MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE CHIEF ELECTION OFFICER
      NO LATER THAN 8:00 p.m. ON NOVEMBER 15,2008 TO BE COUNTED
